The Journey
is a discipleship program designed to help believers grow in maturity, while establishing a solid foundation in Bible knowledge, commitment to Christ and Christian service. The Journey consists of three separate classes that are each six weeks long. Classes are offered on Sunday mornings and Tuesday evenings in the fall, winter, and spring. Sunday morning classes have childcare available.
First Principles: The first step in the Journey, is based on Hebrews 6:1-6 and will incorporate other foundational topics from the Bible. This course is for everyone at Grace Christian Church and is required in order to serve in any area of ministry.
Road to Service: This course establishes the truth that God has a plan for each individual life and that everyone has been given Spiritual Gifts to accomplish that plan.
Road to Stability: is a course designed to build a strong foundation in essential Bible doctrine and Christian maturity. Subjects include Healing, The Holy Spirit, Authority in Leadership, Worship, and others.
CURRENT SCHEDULE OF CLASSES
Sundays: 10:35 a.m. - 11:15 a.m. beginning January 24, 2010
(Children will be admitted into Little People and Kid Nation for childcare at 10:30 a.m.)
Tuesdays: 7:00 p.m. beginning January 26th - First Principles Only
(No childcare available)
Saturday: 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. April 19th (ONE DAY SEMINAR)
Complete any of our Journey classes in
just one day!! Attend this One Day seminar and complete one Journey
class which usually lasts 6 weeks in one Saturday. Classes must be
taken in order - First Principles, Road to Service, Road to Stability.
The class runs from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. with a lunch break from 11:55 a.m. - 12:35 p.m. Lunch specials will be available for purchase in the
Grace Cafe for $3 to $6.
If you are just missing a few sessions from one or more of the classes and would like to come for just part of the day please call the church office for the schedule and we will plug you in.
